In the village of Inhassoro, Mozambique, SIM built a small home where the young people from northern Bazaruto Island are received when, having successfully completed their academic journey in the island's school, they intend to continue their studies on the mainland in search for other life opportunities.
It is in the SIM home that volunteers are welcomed and where they are housed. Their main responsibilities are to monitor and motivate the study of the SIM fellows, and to ensure the smooth operation and maintainability of the home.
SIM volunteers must be over 21 years. Preferably they come from the health and education areas, but essentially have a great vocation to help and a strong sense of solidarity and responsibility.
If you would like to become a volunteer for SIM or want to receive more information please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
